Ocean Swell (TheOceanswell.com) is a local clothing company that strives to offer high quality, USA made apparel. Ocean Swell came to me after a long slew of bad website experiences- and we immediately started talking about a proper web presence for the company. The Ocean Swell website was built on an eCommerce system which allows direct control of products and orders without any assistance- which lets Ocean Swell offer their great products, fast. The Early Learning Project Lab at Georgetown University came to me for a redesign of their website. Content management and usability were the main priorities of the redesign. The challenge I faced with providing content management was the fact that their servers did not allow PHP. I created a development server where the site could be updated through a CMS and then transferred to the main server.
